Bulgaria´s national carrier is Balkan Bulgarian Airlines, there are also private Bulgarian airline companies. Many foreign airlines also link Bulagria to Europe, Africa, the Middle East & North America.

Traveling to Bulgaria by car

You can enter Bulgaria through any one of the many border checkpoints. Your foreign driving licenses is valid on Bulgarian territory. Please note theat Insurance is compulsory - this can either be purchased beforehand or you may choose to purchase insurance at the Bulgarian border. Bulgarias speed limit is 60 km/h in populated areas, 80 km/h outside populated areas, 120 km/h on motorways. You will find that petrol stations are conveniently located at every 30 to 50 km.

Traveling to Bulgaria By Train

Main European railway routes pass through Bulgaria with International trains linking to Sofia, many European capital cities and  Bulgaria´s domestic rail network ensures access to many locations in Bulgaria.
